Leather is a durable material, but you still need to take care of it properly. The easiest way is to store leather jewelry separately from other jewelry. A jewelry box, storage box or drawer you have at home works perfectly. Should you feel that your leather jewelery needs to be cleaned, do so by wiping with a cloth, lubricating with neutral leather grease or cleaning that is for leather. But keep in mind that:
- Too much dust can ruin the leather.
- Water can dry out leather. Try to avoid bathing and showering with your leather jewelry and watch.
- Wait to put on your leather jewelery or watch after you have put on products such as sun oil, skin cream and hair spray.
Our bead bracelets are made of various gemstones such as lapis, tiger eye, jasper, agate, opal, galaxy stone and lava stone. The easiest way to clean these is with a clean and slightly damp cotton cloth. Should they need more cleaning, put your bracelet in a bowl of water and a few drops of mild detergent. Keep in mind, however, that gemstones are an organic material, from which each stone has a unique appearance and should not be soaked with water. In order for you to maintain the original look as long as possible, it is important that you do not expose your jewelry to, among other things, bathing and washing dishes. It is also not optimal to sleep with your jewelry as you can get caught pulling it apart. Also keep in mind that physical activities such as exercise can affect longevity.
Many of our watches have a mesh bracelets. You clean these easily with lukewarm water and mild soap, then you brush gently with, for example a toothbrush. Wipe gently with cotton. It is important to remember that you have to protecting the dial. You should avoid bathing with your steel jewelry, especially in chlorine and salt water. If you feel that your steel jewelry has lost its luster, you can clean it with lukewarm water and polish it with a clean cloth. This is usually enough. Should you think that your jewelry need a proper cleaning, you do it easily with mild cleaning such as soap and water. It is important that you dry the jewelry thoroughly afterwards.
